Blank Canvas Shallow Curve Headboard Kit

Shop our Shallow Curve Headboard Making Kit from the Blank Canvas Collection. Everything you need to create your own bespoke headboard — just add your own fabric. Perfect for crafters who already have a basic upholstery toolkit and some hands-on experience. Instructions are not included, so a degree of existing skill is assumed — this is a very simple shape to upholster, suitable for beginners.

Each kit is built around a lightweight, space-saving headboard blank: a shaped timber base padded with 2" recycled polyester foam, topped with polyester wadding and finished with a fire-safe calico liner. Divan and free-standing strut nuts come pre-attached, or choose wall-hanging fittings to suit your setup.

Every pack includes a piping kit with the exact amount of piping cord and tacking strip you need, plus a piece of backing fabric — so there's no guesswork, no waste, and all fittings are included (with the exception of the wall hanging brackets - you will need your own plugs and screws appropriate for your wall type).
