Headboards

Martha's Bundle headboards are custom made to order so you have complete flexibility to choose the style and size that works for you. 

You have a choice of size, height, and fitting type. The headboards would normally sit at the top of the mattress so the height is measured from there to the tallest part of the headboard. They are made with hand cut timber with a generous padding of recycled polyester foam. They are fitted with a fire safe liner to meet Furniture Fire Safety Regulation for domestic use. Fittings

Our headboards work with any bed that does not have an integral headboard that cannot be removed. If you are unsure about which option to choose please get in touch to discuss your options. 

Divan Struts

If your bed has fixing nuts for divan struts please select this option. Your headboard will be sent with solid beech universal divan struts and fixing bolts. If you have zip and link beds please leave a note at checkout as these struts are a little different and also adjust sideways.

Freestanding Struts

These are similar to the divan struts but are tall enough to stand directly on the floor. They are height adjustable and held in place between the bed and the wall. Please leave a note at checkout with the appx height from the floor to the top of your mattress.

Wall Hanging Brackets

These can be supplied as an alternative fitting. One half of the bracket will be sent attached to the headboard. The other half is sent loose - you will need to attach this to the wall using fixing screws appropriate for your wall type (these are not supplied). Good DIY skills are required for this and lots of our customers have someone do this for them.

Pillow Stops

These are an optional extra designed to sit below the headboard and behind the mattress to prevent pillows from slipping down between the headboard and the mattress. They also add a visual continuity when you are ordering a matching headboard and valance.

Smaller sizes

On the smaller sizes the pillow stop is integral to the headboard and comes in one piece.

Larger sizes

On the larger / taller sizes the pillow stop is sent separately.

Fittings

If the pillow stop is sent separately it is easily attached using the fittings provided.
